Still stuck in using those old cut out picture frames for your profile pics? Well, Facebook now has an added feature known as “Create a Frame” in which you can create custom frames for profile photos, videos as well as for Facebook Live and these frames can then be used by the followers on your Page. Sounds interesting, right?? Well, this feature seems to be ultimate option for promotion of upcoming events, ceremonies or showing support for a cause. If you wish to create a Custom Profile Frames, this guide should help you.

Step 1: To begin with, you need to check the ‘Explore’ tab on the extreme left of your Facebook homepage and select ‘Create a Frame’.

Step 2: In Frames Studio, the designs you create must be uploaded in the form of a PNG file only. You need to ensure that your design background is transparent and doesn’t contain logos or watermark of any brand (except for Verified Pages representing sports leagues, sports teams, sports tournaments, non-profit organizations, schools and universities).

You can adjust your frame size, bring the frame to front or back of the pictures as per your needs.

Step 3: The most amazing part is that Facebook provides you the option to time schedule your frame by giving it a start date and the end date. You can also set targeted locations for your frames and add relevant keywords that will make it easy for people to search for your frame.

A preview of uploaded designs will be displayed prior to your submission.

Once submitted, the frame generally takes 4-5 days (while submitting Facebook shows 1 week) for approval. The frame must adhere to the terms and conditions of Facebook policies.

Once approved, your followers will then be able to add your frame to their respective photos from the camera Effects Platform.

Well, the beauty of using these frames is that you can customize your frames the way you want, plus you will be able to analyze and keep a count on how many of your followers have used it on their profiles.

Now, if the designer in you doesn’t let you sit quiet and if you are still looking for more lively experiences with your frames, then AR Studio would be the right option for you.

Come, put your designs into practice, and let people express themselves using your effects with Custom Profile Frames.
