Show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness on Facebook the October Frame from Susan G. Komen – Filter – Overlay

October Facebook Activation
This National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’ve launched three different profile picture frames that will appeal to everyone from those living with metastatic disease to survivors and people who have hope for a world without breast cancer. Join us in supporting the breast cancer fight by uploading a filter to your Facebook profile picture!

How To Filter Your Profile Picture
Follow these instructions to add one of Komen’s new Facebook filters to your profile picture:

STEP 1
Make sure you are logged into Facebook.

STEP 2
Visit the Susan G. Komen official Facebook page, find the posts with the three filters (“Living with metastatic”, “Hope”, and “Survivor”) and click the “Try It” button at the bottom of the post.

STEP 3
Customize your profile picture with the one of the three Komen filters. You can preview what your profile picture will look like, adjust its size to better fit, choose a different picture to use, and choose how long you want this frame to be on your profile picture (it is set to 1 week by default- we recommend at least through the end of October. At the end of the specified time, your profile picture will silently change back to the one you had before this (no News Feed story will be generated).

STEP 4
Once you have uploaded your new profile picture, ask your followers to do the same! Click on the drop down arrow to the right of your post and click “Edit Post” to add your blurb and call to donate.

Thanks for your support!
